Wise Guys

Most of us have moments when we're pretty darn sure that we know what's best and everyone else is simply misinformed or ignorant of the facts. At those times we feel superior or all of the simpletons in the world. But could we be the ones who are actually ignorant and misinformed?! That's a scary thought!!
​Proverbs 9:11-12 says:

Wisdom will multiply your days and add years to your life.

If you become wise, you will be the one to benefit.
    If you scorn wisdom, you will be the one to suffer.

The trick is to make sure that your "wisdom" is TRUE wisdom and not some sort of false wisdom in disguise.  So how do we know the difference? That's what James 3:13-18 addresses and what we'll be talking about this coming Sunday, June 19th. I hope you'll be able to join us. It's time to make sure we're not just thinking "deep thoughts" - we need to be thinking "right thoughts"!
