Way back in the “early days” our denomination was named The Mission Covenant Church. We have always placed a high priority on reaching those beyond our own back yard with the good news of Jesus. Did you know our church’s largest budget item voted upon each year is for Missions? Our little church is right in there doing our part! Here are the ministries we help to support throughout each year:
GLOBAL MISSIONS:
Our Vision is that the educational dreams of the youth from partner Agros International villages be fulfilled by having an opportunity to be educated to the level of their God-given ability.
Our mission to support the Nicolas Fund for Education in Guatemala provides education through high school and beyond.
LIGHTSHINE specializes in training caregivers and leaders. We bring people together to design healthier environments for abused and abandoned kids. Instead of warehousing children, we work with caregivers to create a family atmosphere so that orphans and street kids have a fighting chance at life!
Mexico Transition House - Our support helps to provide housing for former orphans who have 'aged out' of the orphanage. This transition home provides a safe place for these young adults to acquire further education and job training as an alternative to homelessness.
The primary goal of Pacific Mission Aviation is to glorify God and make our Lord Jesus Christ known to the peoples of Micronesia and the Philippines. Aircraft and boats are utilized to bring the gospel to remote island peoples who might otherwise remain unreached.
Covenant Youth of Alaska bring Christ-centered ministry, partnership, and discipleship to the youth and young adults of Alaska to raise mature believers who will lead the church for generations to come.
Christian Orphanage in Pakistan - David and Edna Daniels run a Christian Orphanage in Pakistan ministering to the children of the (near slave labor) brick-making community.
Our support of the missionary organization, Voice of the Martyrs, helps to serve persecuted Christians in the world’s most difficult and dangerous places to be a Christian.
LOCAL MINISTRIES:
With the help and leadership from the Churches in the valley, AWANA Methow has reached thousands of kids for Christ. AWANA Methow is just a small part of AWANA that is a world-wide nonprofit ministry focused on providing Bible-based evangelism and discipleship solutions for ages 2-18.

The Cove is about honoring and respecting one another at difficult times in our lives. Thankfulness rather than entitlement is our philosophy and at The Cove; we are all family. Come visit us on Thursdays from 12noon-4pm to share stories, have a healthy lunch, get the help you need or just lend a hand. We welcome you with open arms, open hearts and open minds.

In addition to the ministries listed above, our mission commission here at CCC also supports our local church ambassador, Marcia Butchart, who cares for and tends to those within our own community, as well as Mike Liu, an independent Valley resident who makes month-long trips to China and India in efforts to reach people in the most remote areas with the message of Christ.
