I love improv comedy. A lot of the fun comes from the surprise of discovery since the actors don't know where the story is going to go - they just have to be ready to respond to what happens. Here's a video of a performance by CPR Improv, a group that I've seen a couple of times: ![]() Each of our lives are a collection of stories - and each of those stories take unexpected turns as we interact with other people and make difference choices. Some of our stories are fun to recall and share... and others we would prefer to leave untold (unless we can edit some significant details). But lets look ahead 5 years into the future: what story would you like to be able to tell about your life? What story do you think God would want you to be able to tell? What actions can you take in order to enable that story to be told? Our sermon series for the coming 5 weeks is titled "My Story" and it's all about taking action to set the trajectory of our stories. We'll start this Sunday with the phrase, "I decided to start..." I hope you'll be able to join us and together, with God as our author, we can create some stories worth telling. Comments are closed.
