The word "bold" is used to describe everything from a print font to a flavor to a color to a personality. It's been used as a name for a laundry detergent, a hair care product, and even a Soap Opera (B&B for short). In Acts chapter 4 the disciples Peter and John were described as "bold" and all of the believers together prayed that they might be more and more bold. What about you? Would you consider yourself a bold Christian? Is it something you've ever even considered striving for? This Sunday, January 20th, we'll be wrapping up our series "SELF-less" with a look at the idea of becoming Bold in Witness. It's something Jesus longs for us to become and something our family, friends and neighbors need from us. I hope you'll be able to join us. FYI: Steve Ludeman will be preaching for me on Sunday, January 27th. This coming week I'll be traveling to Denver for our Covenant Midwinter Pastor's Conference. Midwinter is an opportunity to connect with my colleagues in Covenant ministry, to share interests and ideas, to encourage and be encouraged, to reflect and be inspired, and to laugh and have fun. I'm grateful for the opportunity CCC gives me to be restored and re-energized and to reaffirm God's call on my life through attending this annual event.
While I'm out of town, you will still be able to reach me by email, text, or phone call (206-650-1557). Or you can reach out to one of our Church Council members or Elders. If you're interested in peeking in on our general sessions, you can do so here: https://midwinter.covchurch.org/ Comments are closed.
